It's been almost a year since we shared updates on direct flights to Cabo so we felt it was time for an update, as new flights are continuously being added. Read on to learn more about direct flights to Cabo from the U.S., Canada and now, Germany!
As of May 2025, travelers from the U.S. have access to direct flights to San José del Cabo (SJD), the primary airport serving Cabo San Lucas, from numerous cities. Additionally, several new direct routes are set to commence later in 2025, enhancing connectivity to this popular destination.

Chicago Midway (MDW) – Southwest Airlines is set to commence seasonal flights in April 2025.
Ontario (ONT) – Volaris will begin seasonal service on July 4, 2025.
St. Louis (STL) – Southwest Airlines is launching seasonal flights in April 2025.
Cincinnati (CVG) – Viva Aerobus is expected to offer seasonal service in 2025.

Munich (MUC) to San José del Cabo (SJD)
Route: No direct flights available.
Options: Travelers can connect via Frankfurt (FRA) with Condor or Lufthansa.
Flight Duration: Approximately 17 hours and 50 minutes, including layover.
Booking Information: Flights can be booked through Lufthansa or Condor's websites.
