As a Cabo San Lucas business owner with a passion for uncovering what makes a vacation truly unforgettable, I set out on a mission
to discover Cabo's top-rated resorts, delivering the kind of customer service that turns a trip into a story you can’t stop telling.
With 38 stunning properties in the running for Cabo's top-rated resorts, I turned to real travelers, collecting their vivid anecdotes through detailed surveys to rank the best from the moment of booking, through the guests entire stay, to departure. The results were electrifying: Pueblo Bonito Resorts soared to # 1, LeBlanc sparkled at # 2, and Corazón Cabo stole hearts at # 3. Beyond the rankings, the rich histories, prestigious accolades, and extensive services of these resorts added depth to their stellar performances.
This study was a deep dive into the soul of hospitality, capturing the entire guest journey—from the moment of booking a sun-drenched escape, to the warm embrace of a check-in that feels like home, and the unexpected moments that spark joy, and the post-trip touches that keep the magic alive. I invited travelers to share their experiences, focusing on responsiveness, personalization, and those “wow” moments that make a resort legendary. The 38 resorts ranged from intimate boutique havens to sprawling luxury retreats, and the stories poured in like the waves on Médano Beach. Maria, a first-time visitor, described her booking experience as “like chatting with a friend who just gets luxury,” with staff sending a custom vegan menu before she even confirmed her stay. On-site, a couple shared how their concierge noticed them admiring a local art piece in the lobby and gifted them a small print as a keepsake—a gesture that left them speechless. Opened in 2018, Corazón has quickly become a favorite. Its proximity to Cabo’s marina and vibrant downtown, combined with its heartfelt service, has made it a standout for travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation.
The anecdotes from Corazón were pure magic. Jake, a solo traveler, shared how a sudden rainstorm canceled his hike, but the staff pivoted in minutes, setting up an impromptu tequila-tasting session under a beach cabana. “The bartender, Francisco, turned it into a party, teaching me about agave like we were old pals,” he wrote. Another guest recalled a front desk staffer noticing her toddler’s scraped knee and delivering a cartoon-character bandage, turning tears into giggles.
