Top Anglers has become the First Cabo Sportfishing Charter to Team Up with the International Women's Fishing Association
At Top Anglers Sportfishing Charters Cabo, we’ve always believed that sportfishing should be celebrated as a passion for everyone—bringing together people from all walks of life, bonded by the thrill of being on the water and chasing trophy fish. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we are now an official sponsor of the International Women’s Fishing Association (IWFA).
A Storied History of Women's Sportfishing
Founded in 1955, the IWFA is one of the most respected organizations in the world of angling. What started with just 16 pioneering women anglers with a vision has grown into a global
network of ladies who fish, compete, and share their love for the sport. With
members who hold multiple world records, along with a thriving Junior Anglers program (for women 18 and under) and a scholarship program that invests in the future of the sport, the IWFA has long been a leader in promoting inclusivity and opportunity within fishing. To date the IWFA has awarded over 150 scholarships and is a recipient of both the IGFA’s and The Billfish Foundation’s Conservation Awards. Today’s membership includes women anglers from around the world who have fished from Florida to Alaska, Australia to Chile and soon, Cabo San Lucas.
This partnership means a lot to us. At Top Anglers, our team of professional anglers—who together bring over 80 years of tournament and big-game fishing experience—have seen firsthand the passion and skill of women anglers here in Cabo and beyond.
