For those unfamiliar, the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) defines a Super Grand Slam as catching four different billfish or pelagic species in a single day. It’s an incredibly rare and celebrated achievement in the world of sportfishing.
The Catch: Four Species, One Epic Day

Dorado (Mahi-Mahi) – To top it all off, a vibrant dorado exploded on the surface, sealing the deal for the Super Grand Slam! These sought after fish are well-known in Cabo for their fighting ability and spectacular color variations.
